Donna Ragle Clark Dorflinger

Donna grew up in a family of twelve children where faith, hard work, and perseverance were part of everyday life. When she was just five years old, her father passed away unexpectedly, leaving her mother to raise twelve children on her own. Through determination, sacrifice, and the support of family, friends, and church members, her mother provided a loving home and became a lasting example of strength and resilience.

As one of the younger children, Donna learned responsibility early, helping care for her younger brothers while her mother worked tirelessly to support the family. Her childhood was filled with challenges, but also with lessons in faith, compassion, gratitude, and the importance of family.

A lifelong lover of music, Donna taught herself to play piano from a church hymnal after a donated piano arrived in her home, creating one of her happiest childhood memories.

Today, Donna is working on a memoir for her grandchildren, Love You, Mema, a collection of memories that preserves the stories, struggles, and blessings that shaped her life. Through her writing, she hopes to pass along the values of faith, family, perseverance, and gratitude to future generations.
